Developers are moving forward with two projects that would bring 210 apartments to Fort Lauderdale as the state grapples with an affordable housing shortage. McDowell Housing Partners is seeking a $640,000 opportunity loan from the City of Fort Lauderdale for a development planned through the state’s Live Local Act, the South Florida Business Journal reported.
